We offer mobile bars and mobile cocktail bars to any type of event including private parties, corporate events, weddings, bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, brand launches, product launches, festivals and many more.
The office is based in Hertfordshire, covering London and the surrounding areas primarily (25 mile radius of Watford). Furthermore the team cover events nationwide, from Brighton to Newcastle for a fee.
Three Piece Bar do more than just mobile bars, with an ever-expanding range of services including bar consultancy, staff training, masterclasses, cocktail menu development and bar building.
We have made it really easy to get a quote! Using our instant quote form you can slide the marker up and down to see our prices (on smartphones you need to press and hold), then submit your request and an event planner will be in touch within 24 hours to run through your quote. Following a quick conversation about your drinks and event, the planner will generate your contract and invoice for safe and secure payment online.
Our team have been working in hospitality for over 25 years collectively up to the position of general manager, ranging from pubs and clubs to speakeasy bars and 5* hotels. Having planned and served at hundreds of events, the team are experienced in the best ways to plan, prepare and execute world class cocktail services.
We have never let a client down, ever. Your event planner will be available during office hours and all day on the date of your booking. Staff arrive at least 1 hour before the event starts, to set up and prepare, sometimes even setting up the day before.
Unfortunately we do not offer staff hire yet as we are working at full capacity to deliver our all-inclusive services. In the future we are looking to expand to include this option.
Yes, we have 1 flair bartender who is available for hire when you want showmanship. But the majority of our mixologists focus on serving the drinks quickly, efficiently and to exact recipe specifications.
A mixologist is a professional term for a highly skilled bartender, trained in the art of mixing and designing cocktails. Mixologists are often full-time and have built a career in the industry, with contacts nationwide or worldwide.
We hand build our mobile bars so they are designed to our specifications, folding down to fit through any door and up or down any stair case. They come in individual, straight fronted units. The most popular style is our shabby chic with wooden tops, but we also have gloss black with stainless steel tops. We can brand our bars with your logo or design so they match your event theme perfectly.
Our bars measure 1500mm wide x 1150mm high x 650mm deep. They line up side by side to create a longer bar for events up to 150 guests, but with events over 150 guests we use another company who have an enormous variety of options available.
We only require 1 domestic plug socket for events with LED bars or cash bar tills. But if you don’t have this available then we will work with you to find a solution.
Ideally, we require a source of water from a garden tap or kitchen sink nearby, simply to top up our wash buckets. If there is no water source onsite then please let us know in advance and we can supply.
We cater for 30-150 guests with ease, guaranteeing our 5* service across the board. Any more or less than this number and we encourage a different type of event setup which an event planner can run through with you over the phone with ease.
The fastest we have ever set up an event for 40 guests was 15 minutes! But we allocate 1 hour as a standard set up time, stretching to 2 hours if the event has many different requirements.
Usually, we set up and breakdown on the day of the event. However, if you require an earlier set up and later breakdown inform your event planner.
Deposits are required 1 month in advance, to secure the booking and avoid disappointment. In some cases we understand that events crop up late, so we ask for at least 14 days notice as there is a vast amount of planning and preparation involved with events. Sometimes we can accommodate events with 24 hours notice, so it’s worth getting in touch.
Our team hold personal alcohol licenses so they are authorised to act as the DPS (Designated Premises Supervisor) at events. A DPS is only required for cash bar services, when a TEN (Temporary Event Notice) is applied for, and we take all responsibility for organising this part of the service. Generally, events venues will have a Premises License so there is no need to apply for a license, however we will need to talk to the events manager at the venue to make sure.
Our stock, equipment and staff arrive in a regular sized Ford Transit, so we require roughly 3m x 2m to be able to load and unload safely. A regular parking space in the front drive or road side usually suffices.
Our mobile bars are capable of stocking most of the equipment, glassware and stock, but we always have some spare in the van. On rare occasions we may need to use a utility room or outdoor space to keep the event space presentable.
We don’t need to wash any glassware. We bring enough to serve the exact amount of drinks, which go back into the case dirty and are washed off site. If your guests ask for more drinks then we take a brief pause to clean a few in the kitchen and continue serving.
We specialise in cocktails but have solutions for other drinks too. We can serve draft beer, bottled beer, bottled ale, bottled cider, wine, Prosecco, Champagne, spirits, mixers or shots so just inform your event planner of what you would like. Unfortunately we don’t have a professional coffee machine service but we can cater to instant coffee and tea for dining events.
Yes we do! We started the business creating bespoke cocktails for our clients, but most people want crowd-pleasers so we stick to our classic or superior packages. Bespoke drinks are ideal for weddings with Mr & Mrs drinks, or big birthday celebrations.
Our event planning team have extensive experience in planning the right quantities you need, and this is a major benefit of pre-paid packages. Sometimes one drink option is more popular than the other so it can run out, however we bring extra stock to our events for you to purchase more if you wish.
You are welcome to provide your own beer, wine, bubbles or spirits - please ensure they are pre-chilled. We insist that we provide all the ingredients for the cocktail service as we source specialist ingredients which can require preparation. This includes spirits, liqueurs, syrups, juices and garnishes.
Your event planner should be able to accurately estimate the number of drinks and the amount of time required to serve, but if you want more then we are happy to help. Your bartender will let you know when you are close to finishing and ask you if wish to continue and add more. The costs will be invoiced to you afterwards.
Our service is completely bespoke, as we plan events to our clients brief so we don't have a fixed price. However, we want our services to be accessible to all and offer three types of hire - Prepaid Mobile Bar Hire, Paid Mobile Bar Hire and Dry Hire. Click here to see more details on our bar hire options. These three options are offered so we can suit all budgets.
For our pre-paid service we require a 50% deposit to secure the booking, which is non-refundable. We then require the remaining balance no later than 14 days prior to the event. For our cash bar service we require a £10 holding deposit per guest, which is refundable when the minimum spend is met.
You will see we accept Direct Bank Transfer or Online payment, which is provided by Stripe so you know your money is safe.
Yes we are VAT Registered, and you can see the inclusive and exclusive price on all quotes.
We are Level 2 certified for Food Hygiene on a national level, but are still awaiting the Food Hygiene inspection for our new offices, which should be coming soon!
We can provide risk assessments or health and safety documentation you require. Please advise our event planners what documentation you require, at least 2 weeks before your booking date.
We can provide personal license holders for our clients if required for a bar selling alcohol. All bars are governed by UK licensing law to have a personal license holder present when selling alcohol. If jobs are quoted and no alcohol is being retailed at the point of sale then no personal license is required. Click here to find out more.
We have Public Liability Insurance to the value of £2 million and can provide certificates as evidence, if necessary.
